What Information we need form you
Before any treatment begins we will always conduct a thorough consultation to enable us to deliver the best possible, safest treatments. As part of our consultation we will collect your contact details including name, phone number, address and email address. We will also need information about your age, any relevant health condition, medication or allergy information in order for the treatment to go ahead.
Why do we need it, how will we use it and how long will we retain it?
We need all the details above in order to ensure that the treatment we are delivering to you is safe. We need to keep the details of your consultation and treatment record for insurance purposes and we are required to store this information for seven years after the date your treatment took place. We collect this data under the lawful basis ‘contract’, meaning we have legal reasons to ask for said data because we need it for contractual reasons. You do not have to share your personal information with us, however unfortunately without it we cannot carry out your treatment at Omni The Salon.
Will we share your information?
Occasionally we like to send out information regarding our latest product/treatment releases, special offers and general latest news from Omni The Salon. During our consultation we will ask you to OPT-IN if you would like to receive these emails. You can easily unsubscribe if you change your mind at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of any emails, alternatively email us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 01932 481616 and we can happily update your preferences.
Under the new General Data Protection Regulation, you are given more control over how your data is used. Under the regulation you can exercise the following rights at any time:
– To be informed of how your personal data will be used before it is collected.
– To access your personal data and to inform you on how your information is used after it has been gathered.
– To have personal data corrected if it is incomplete, inaccurate or out-of-date.
– To request the removal or deletion of personal data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.
– To restrict processing; to ‘block’ processing of your personal data.
– To data portability; having your data moved, copied or transferred from Omni The Salon to another organisation in an easily readable format.
– To object to direct marketing from us.
